Every year I try to get pictures of my Department 56 Snow Village that will show it well. I try to explain to people how huge it is, but it is impossible to put it in pictures. This year I gave up and photographed small portions of it. It is my special room of memories. There are 92 major pieces and countless little pieces. There are 60 trees, and I have build mountains and backgrounds. It takes me about 2 weeks to put it up. This layout is one tiny area. I hope to make layouts for other areas as well.

BEAUTIFUL! Both the photos and the layout. I have a ceramic village that my Mother made that I put up every year, but I am ashamed to say that I don't do anything this great with it. Since we downsized I usually put it under a Christmas Tree. I really loved seeing the photos of yours.

This is lovely. I like the way you got closeups of your village pieces. Too often we don't look close enough to appreciate the details.

I love this busy, beautiful layout with so many pictures - it is really awesome and I think you did a great job incorporating all the pics into the layout - looks fantastic!
