Here's the page I created for Vaughnde! The photos she sent were scanned from travel brochures about Scotland and Wales. I used one of the pictures to create the canvas-like painting for the background, which sets the perfect stage for her "favorite place she'd like to visit!" Hope you like it Vaughnde!

It has always been my dream to go to Wales and Scotland one day. Living in Chipping Norton, England for only six months gave me a taste of what life was like in the British Isles. I have a Welsh, Scots and Brits heritage. I've read George MacDonald's books and always loved Robert Burns' Bonnie Doone Poem. On my Grandfather's side, Our Scots heritage comes from the name Hayes. When Hayes came to the states, they dropped the e and its now Hays. I've a bit of the wanderlust in me and since finances prevent me from going where I want, I usually dream and read books about different places. I also love the history, although it has been bloody at times and the tolerance level is not exactly where it should be today. Still and all, a trip though the Welsh and Scottish Countryside is a dream I will always dream and someday, Lord Willing, I'll be able to fulfill.
