Saturday 4/18 Color challenge "as you are"

I am so glad I am wearing a navy shirt with sparklies on it ....

The moon over passover was incredible here and I got some great shots of the moon rising over the trees. Every night as I watched it, the Van Morrison song kept running through my head. As it became darker out, I could never quite capture the night sky with all its stars and so I had been comtemplating how I could scrap it. With this challenge I thought I would try blending in Brandy's North Star from her Holiday lights collection. I duplicated the moon in my photo so it would not get lost in the blending. I'm very pleased how this turned out.

This is stunning!! I love how well the moon blends in with the starry paper. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was just a spectacular night sky photo instead of a photoshop trick :) Great job!

SO clever! And what a fantastic moon. My sister and I call them 'Momma Moons' because my mother loved full moons so much. She'd give us a call and just say, "Have you seen the moon tonight!!".
