Beaune 2

We visited this museum (former hospital) while in Beaune. The docent told us that it is perfectly preserved from the Middle Ages. It is hard to believe it was that beautifully decorated, to care for the poor in the Middle Ages, but that is what they say. It was privately funded by the Chancellor and his wife. There is beaufiful stained glass and lots of paintings in every room. I didn't know what to expect from a hospital/museum, but it was very interesting.
