Day 16 I love books LO

I like your placement of pictures and the full book cases. I am in complete agreement with the idea of owning books that are ones that will be reread. In the past 5 years, I have trying to buy only books that will have many uses. The only fiction that I buy, I pick up in the library discard bin (25 cents for paperback or 50 for hard cover) or in the clearance section of the used book stores and have been trying to pass them on to others or donate them when we have read them. Thanks for the reminder to make use of the libray.

Love the bookcases, Gayle, and also how you framed them using those frames made from old books... I love going to the library but it's good to have some old friends around the house. I was an assistant to the librarian at our high school for one class period a day, and she taught me how to break in a new book, and as she did, she said, "Books are our friends." I still remember her words several times a year!

I love books also. Love how you used books as frames for your photos, which are wonderful. I love your title.

 

When I get my own apartment again, it will be filled with bookshelves and those shelves will be filled with books. I have loads of boxes filled with books in my storage unit in Los Angeles just waiting for me to bring them home. Hopefully that will be this year.
