I had a lot of fun creating this layout of my great niece Jacklyn at her first birthday party. She was just adorable as she ate and then wore the frosting of her own little birthday cake.

There are two versions of this lo, and I can't decide which I like better. The other page has the little picture in the corner of Jacklyn all in color where this one only the cake is in color.

Your title sucked me right in to find out more. I love the way you've kept the focus of the color on the frosting. I also like the way you've used the ribbon to tie everything together. Nicely done.

I love the photo of her with the cake in color. This reminds me of our kids on their first birthdays--we always excused ourselves from the party for a quick bath after cake!
