"When ScrapGirls announced they were holding a convention in Salt Lake City, I bought my seat as soon as they were released! And 2 seconds after I hit “Pay” - I panicked! What had I done? Flying all the way to Utah from Sweden, to meet a whole bunch of women I’ve never met IRL? Totally crazy!!! Possibly insane...
But as more and more members started signing up, and the discussions started on the MB, I found myself getting more and more excited!
I booked my airline tickets, found a hotel to stay at and even got myself a room-mate! Mary, a.k.a. “goofyemt96”, and I decided to be partners in crime on this venture! All of a sudden, the day for departure came, and I left Gothenburg for SLC via Paris.
There was another ScrapGirl on the flight from Paris to SLC - Peppi from Luxembourg! We talked some, and went through immigration together.
Mary’s flight had arrived in SLC an hour or so before mine, but she waited patiently!
And this is where our ScrapGirls’ adventure begins..."
