I can't seem to stop taking pictures of birds and my emerging garden. I love how this project has helped me pay attention to the details.

This is May's last week.

 

The back ground is part picture and a simple green selected to match the green of the lilacs leaves.

The journaling reads:

I love our back yard. This week it smelled of lilacs and freshly mowed grass. Yum... And there was lots of activity. Two young rabbits come each morning in search of food. I always hope they choose clover over my flowers. We watched this baby robin peep impatiently for its Mom one evening. We can sometimes catch the parent feeding its young. It’s a great time to observe all the new babes. We came across this scene on our way home. This family of geese had no qualms about holding up traffic.

This is beautiful, Pat. Look at those lilacs! I love how they have taken over the left side of the layout and the cameo’s of the critters. Hope that gaggle made it across the road safely!!
