Roasted Carrots w/thyme

I've been practicing with opacity, layering, manipulating fonts and shadows while making recipe cards. My next challenge will be to learn brushes (eek!) and templates.

These carrots are awesome, btw. My kids became cooked veggie eaters when I began to roast them. I roast almost all veggies now - carrots, onions, peppers, cauliflower, zucchini - whatever, I'm not picky. I love them all! (hmmmm - I just remembered another roasted veggie recipe that needs a card :))

This recipe sounds great. I'll have to try it and maybe roasting other veggies as ell. Nice job on the card too. Love the clothespins!

Ooooohhhh Yum Dee Dee, I love roasted veggies. I think you did a fabulous job on this card. I love the lowered opacity on your white paper bg to allow the back one to show through with the typing and the swirls. How pretty. I also love the elements you used on your card. The clips and the nail with the charm, how fun, and the clothes pins too. Great card!

This card just SCREAMS VINTAGE. . .And how I love Vintage/Heritage so when I spotted it I just had to peek closer. . .WONDERFUL JOB !!!! You have "art" in your heart I can tell. . . .
