Departure: May 24 - 25, 1996 spread

This looks like it is going to be a wonderful album! How great that you kept such a detailed journal of the trip; it will add so much to this precious keepsake. I don't have any cc for the journal block -- I think it's a wonderful idea and will be perfect for tracking the different legs and days of the journey.

Thanks! A little "creative work" went on here--the airplane photo is from a sunny day at the same airport. I didn't have a good shot of the plane for the actual departure date. The shadows are a giveaway; there were no visible shadows on that day. So the soft blend into a soft grayed-blue background was designed to make it look like it could have been that day. (sometimes we have to improvise...)

 

It really pushed me, as I typically use brighter, more saturated colors. This was a good learning experience.
