My uncle as a boy on board the Europa on his way to see relatives in Germany (or perhaps on his way back home). I'm not sure of the exact year, sometime before WWII, though.

It's so neat to have these old photos, isn't it.

I really like the monochrome lo, it really fits the picture. The lower left corner is also very nicely done!
