I was driving around on my errands today, thinking about what to do with the pansy colors when I passed this (can something this colorful be called a dive?) bar. I just had to turn around & get a picture.

Created with GIMP.

I used:

SG REfresh2 Emb BVA Brads lavender, green & green2 (I played with the colors)

GHU SS Embbiggie Frames (ditto the color)

Background paper is Scrapbook Flair random dot 3

Ribbons from the challenge assignment (thanks so much, Carla!!

WOW!!!!

This is absolutely Fabulous Aggie and Yes, some Dive Bars can be cool on the outside (non drinker here...so not sure about the insides lol). However, I have seen the inside of a British Pub and its not so bad if you only go for the food not the alcoholic drinks :D

I can't really take credit for the ribbons - all I did was stretch the challenge image you sent. Those are a great idea & I'm making very good use of them. Thanks!!

Having been in a bar or two back in the day, I can tell you that many are perfectly nice places. I have to confess though, Vaughnde, I looked up this bar online afterwards & not only am I never going there, I don't think I'd let my nephews in there either. It was a pretty building, though.

Quite a coincidence, I agree. It felt a little silly to decorate such a pedestrian thing, but it was just such perfect colors..

That is one colorful place - wonder if it's as colorful inside...LOL. Great shots and page for the challenge...love the way you used the Muddy's sign as a design element.

How perfect for the challenge! And what a fun thing to scrap. I love the place’s name.

You certainly did a great job using all of the colors and they look perfect with your photos. You certainly did a good job with all of the different views for not ever leaving your car!
