Journaling:

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or lemon Madalines. Juice it, squeeze it, zest it, grind it. Megan and Jared had a blast helping daddy cook today. They got to stir and measure, squeeze, crack eggs, spoon batter into the Madaline pans. They both tasted pure, fresh squeezed lemon juice. Jared loved it, Megan went and rinsed her mouth out. While the cookies were baking, they both went to Jared's room to play restaurant. They took turns being the customer and being the chef. I'm so glad that daddy lets them help him cook!

Anna. This is adorable. It reminds me of my oldest daughter, who was my little cook. She used to cook anniversary dinners for DH and me, even before she was really old enough to do it.
