Love my camera

The inspiration for this layout came from a layout done by Rachel (sorry no surname) who won So U think U can Scrap. Sorry can't link to her layout as it's on another website and it's forbidden in the ScrapGirls rules. Here is my version.

Journalling reads

Me and my camera are inseperable. Yes its true where ever I may be you can bet it is there with me. For you see my camera captures every fleeting second of the lives of my children. The minutest details of who they are and then I lovingly preserve those moments for years to come. One day they will all grow and fly the nest to start their own adventures and whilst I will miss them dearly I will seek consolation in my scrapbook pages. Safe in the knowledge that one day they will ring or knock on the door to say “Mum you are going to be a nan!” Oh I wait for that day because then I know you will have a million questions about what you were like when you were little and at what age did you do this and that. All those details that so might have been lost with the ticking hands of time. Years down the line I will take each of your children on my knee and flick through the pages made with love whilst they giggle at Nan s old fashioned hair do and the clothes we used to wear. Life is so precious and my camera makes sure it is all there lovingly preserved. This will be my legacy long after I have gone. xxxxxx

What beautiful journaling! I have to admit, when I first looked at the layout without reading anything I was thinking remember to take cap off when taking pictures. LOL:) I think I will always think of this layout when ever I see a lens cap. This is just a wonderful keepsake.

Gosh, now I understand why I'm obsessed with taking so many photos and recording the moment. Beautifully stated and what a clever way to capture the relationship you have with your camera. I'm intrigued by how you placed your hand around the lens. Pretty nifty.
