Ngaire Posted October 6, 2009 Great use of the page curls. Just a wee idea for you on this one, what if you tucked a piece of the photo behind the page curl and bought the palm tree over the top of the photo. Hope that makes sense. Just incase you don't know how to tuck the photo just place it under that pink layer and the page curl. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment
KFiasco Posted October 6, 2009 I had the same idea of making the tree overlap the picture. Karen Quote Link to comment
Jane in N.Z Posted October 6, 2009 Ngaires idea is a good one and I like how you have the flower stamped over the photo. Quote Link to comment
Reminiscing Posted October 6, 2009 I like how you balanced the color in this one too, especially blue, because you used it three times. In my design class (offered here at Scrapgirls) I learned that our eyes like things to come in threes. You used three embellishments too! Quote Link to comment
BarbaraC1977 Posted October 6, 2009 Good ideas; I love the layout in any case. The photo looks so much like one I have, looking inland from the back of a boat heading out to watch whales! Great memories. Quote Link to comment
JenniferZ Posted October 6, 2009 Great use of color. If your album started with the "Real or Fake" page -- your colors flow really well. You start with mostly brown in the first page, then use the aqua accents in page two, which ties nicely to the aqua BG paper in page three, which you carry over to page four. Here you've added pink, which could be a nice transition color to your next page. Good eye!! Quote Link to comment
