The week I had to transition back from my trip to the beach ... difficult ... you really couldn't tell what season it was suppose to be or is it you couldn't tell what season I wanted it to be?

I used:

Background is MRE Inspired

The back ground picture was turned to black and white and blended into MRE Treasures Paper Special

The framed pictures are using ABR Stack Them 2 adjusted a wee bit

The leaf embellishment is KVR Autumn Bliss

Journaling reads:

It is a week of contrasts. I have just returned from the warmth and humidity of So Carolina to below average Minnesota temps. Brrr.... I have returned to the routine of work and all the must dos in my schedule although my thoughts are of the beach. I have planted spring bulbs (I am determined spring will hit us full force when it comes) and then Yikes! The next day it snows. They tell me I missed the first official snow when I was gone. Like many adults I am not ready for winter. To me it equates with short days, cold temps and icy roads. My grand kids obviously have a different view. They are as delighted with a snow flake as I am with an ocean wave. Just goes to show its all in one’s perception. Hmmm ... I think I’ll just close my eyes when the days done and continue to walk the beach.

I like the way you made the large beach photo faded and the other photos bright. It looks like the beach is a dreamy memory and the snow is the current reality. I know how you feel. We were in Florida last week and this week I'm back in Wisconsin.

I really love how you have blended the summer time picture in the warm colors. It is so effective to emphasize the contrast of the reality of this week. Nice!

Nice photo arrangement, and I like how you used the beach photo with your background. The leaves tucked behind the photos adds a very nice touch. Looks wonderful. :)
