Task #10 Royal Christmas Pudding

Task #10 Royal Christmas Pudding

I had to ask my Nana if I was able to post this card on the internet as it has been my great Grandmothers and her secret recipe for years and she only gave me the recipe a few years ago LOL I have made this pudding for the last 2 years and it has turned out near on perfect every time. The bonus of this pudding is that it keeps for weeks which is a good thing because it is so filling. My favorite way of eating this is heating a small slice up in the microwave then pouring over some fresh cream. It has been a tradition in our family for as long as I can remember to have Christmas pudding served after a lovely Christmas lunch and still to this day it is by far my favorite Christmas recipe.

Lovley LO! It's very much like a pudding recipe that my mom used to make but she also made a caramel sauce to pour over it. Your family has a lovely tradition with this recipe. :-)
Great card, and recipe looks delicious. I like the circle alpha for emphasis.
Beautiful card and tradition. Isn't it fun to pass down family recipes? I love it! Cute stitching and I love the flowers on the corners with the sweet swirls under your photo and the striped bg.
Very nice and festive BG paper...the chevron pattern almost reminds me of St. Stephen's Dome (in Austria). Also, I see some measurements are in grams. European recipe? Like how you've incorporated the colors of the pudding throughout your lo, and not necessarily used the traditional colors of red/green. Including a photo adds a personal touch. Lovely.

Sounds wonderful...you've done a beautiful job on the card!
What a wonderful card and a wonderful tradition.
