January Jumpstart Task 4

January Jumpstart Task 4

The week before Christmas we made an unexpected trip to Texas because of a death in the family. My brother lives on a working ranch and I took these photos just as we left his house late one afternoon. What looks like desolation to some, looks like home to me. For a while I've wanted to do a layout with the "Giant" theme and lyrics, these photos gave me the opportunity.

Materials Used:
BMU SSEmb USStates
BMU Kingdom Paper - Amber
Title Font: West Texas
Lyrics Font: Texas Hero

Beautiful, Sarah. I love the way the shadows on the smaller photo edge the outline of the map template, the beautiful colors and fun Texas font.
love the colors and ...great oil well extraction
Great LO! Hope you scrap more to share of Texas!
Nice effect - I like the soft, subtle journaling which enhances the grassland photo and the skewed title. Good work!
What part of TX is this? It looks a lot like the area I graduated high school - ah the smell of the oil fields. LOL Beautiful layout - nothing like a west TX horizon...
Great job, Sara ... had to look again to catch the subtle background. Nicely done!
