I think it looks fabulous too Kacie, we used to have a golden when our kids were little and her name was Casey! Did you try putting a small border around your layout? I really don't think it needs anything, that's usually when I start just playing and trying new things, to see what I like.

This is so nice! I love the background & your adorable puppies. The only thing I would change is to maybe blend the straight edge across the left dog's back so it isn't so sharp a line.
