From Mom's Perspective
Another LO about my family. This one is like from my mom's perspective, from her desk. Mom never had a typewriter of her own (wasn't interested), neither a desk. She was always too busy raising the four of us, taking care of dad, the house, her kingdom. I wonder how she could accomplish so much with so little: they didn't have a washmaschine, neither a dishwasher nor a dryer. They got their first fridge sometime after I was born (sometime after 1961). She always told us how excited she was with her fridge, that she had a hard time falling asleep that night because she could hear the fridge's motor running. It was the best "white noise" ever!
Since she was a kid she knews she'd have four kids one day. All she always wanted was to get married and raise a family. Unfortunately just half of her dream came true: after being unfaithful so many times, dad left us when I was 15. Mom never got married again, never got over it...
