This whole assignment was tough--beginning with the photo and moving on to the LO. I think I'm happy with the result. Maybe the difficulty was in that this isn't on top of my list of LO's to work on right now! Supplies in EXIF.

this is wonderful....the old photo is so amazing and the new photo of the desk is great..its a great looking desk and a great story to go with it... i felt the same way about the lo...it is my first lo of 2010 and not what i was planning...not to mention i still have a bunch of photos i want to scrap from 2009 and need to do that so i can print out my 2009 pages...so i know how you feel...but i think you will be happy to have this page and preserve the memory of where this desk came from and the history ...so in the end...sometimes it is good to do something we didnt plan on or would'nt do without the challenge...
love all the heritage embellishments and colors you used

Kim what an incredible heirloom you have there. And to have the history behind it is an added bonus. I'm sorry you found this tough but I think you will look back on it and be very pleased you did this. I think the photo of your Aunty is wonderful and all your choices of embellishments couldn't have been more perfect. Thanks so much for doing the challenge.

Beautiful, beautiful photos sitting in that wonderful frame and on top of that lace. The desk photo in the vellum is so pretty too, it all just is GORGEOUS together. REALLY Gorgeous!
