A day at the beach

Both of my kids seem to be growing up too fast. I am finally getting to scrapping my summer pics and I had to smile at the memory of my son and his kite.

The Journaling

Jared,That kite! I think I watched you for at least an hour running back forth along the sand determined to keep your little kite a float. Your perseverance that day amazed me but lately most of what you do amazes me. Your gracious spirit, kind heart and sensitive soul are incredible gifts. I hope you will forever believe in your abilities to fly. I hope that you always stay true to yourself and have just enough wind to keep your kites afloat. And if not, may the beach lead you to other treasures. I love you always my special boy.Mom

Everything about this is stunning. Your journaling is beautiful and drew me into the LO even more. Gorgeous visual, this is one to frame!

Wow. What a beautiful layout. I love the large picture reaching horizontally across the entire layout, and then the smaller frame calling your attention to your son with the kite. The slipped stitching looks great and the little string with the star is a great accent to draw your eye in. The journaling is so sweet as well. Great layout.
