Tried lowering the opacity on the BG photo, but didn't like it as much.

 

Enlarged the journaling and the matted photo, and changed the journaling to white which I think helped the white of the Eiffel tower on pg 2 stand out more...

I like the changes you made, but really I think you did a great job on both pages! Sometimes its so hard to see when you've been working on it for along time. Overall I like it! Nicely done
