10 Things I Like (Double Spread)

I had so much fun doing this! And I probably could have chosen at least 10 more things to scrap about. So maybe that will be another project for another day. :) I chose to do a double-spread layout just because if I'm doing an album, I really like for the pages to connect and "match" when they're side by side. And I knew going into this that I would want to do a full-sized album instead of the 4x6 size because I am much more comfortable with the 12x12 size. While it may be a little bit more work, for my personal preference, it's worth it.

Journaling: "10 Things I Love (in no particular order): my Nikon D300 camera, Moleskine notebooks, the TV show ‘Lost’, chandelier earrings, amazing Do-It-Yourself projects, Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ music video, pretty vintage dresses (which I’ll own one of these days), pizookies from BJ’s restaurant, Bath and Body Works’ Pineapple Orchid fragrance and a really great haircut."

This layout uses:

His and Hers Collection Biggie

ScrapSimple Tools - Scripts: Supply Tracker 11101

ScrapSimple Tools - Scripts: File Save 2 11101

Just the Basics Paper Biggie

ScrapSimple Embellishment Templates: Lifted Photos 2 Biggie

Dynamic Brush Set: Decorative Stitching 4901 Biggie

ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Stitching 4901 Mini

Thanks for looking! :)

This is awesome. I love the really great haircut part of your list - and I didn't even think about music. Good for you for going with the 12x12 double pages - ambitious. I like that!!!

Ooooh, I wanted to do the 12x12s. The challenge for me was to see if I could say what I wanted to say and work within a 4x6. Beautiful work Laurel. This will be a really special book when you're all finished.

Amazing layout! That's a beautiful photo of you, and you have all the right touches with your left page photos. Love the stitching around the edges. Looking forward to more!

You did a great job on the layout. Love your photos and the placement of them. Like the stitching around the layout and your photo is just beautiful. Fabulous. I agree with you on the 12x12, as that is the size that I've been using.
