Isn't he just the cutest. You did good with this photo. Lighting nice, subject PERFECT!!! Curious, what lense did you use. Trying to get idea's as to the various lense size to pic when taking photo's.

Julie I want to say the nifty fifty can't be positive Anita (dd) wanted to see the difference between the lens so we kept changing them.

Great photo and they are so cute at this age for getting good photos. Nice clear image with the slight dof makes him stand out really well.
Love how you have him centred in the photo.

Great photo, Caren. You were really on the ball to be able to get him like this. Really good color combinations too. I was just recently reading Joel Sartore's Photographing Your Family and he highly recommends using the floor/carpet as background when shooting photos of children! You knew this instinctively, didn't you!

This made me laugh out loud because I can just imagine him running off to do something funny and then running back to check it out. Very cool.
