My Hero

My Hero

This layout is from the class "Who I Am - Right Now"

Mary Dorn is one of my heroes. I canít think of anyone who has had more impact for good in a community. In 1994, she came to Monument Valley as a volunteer. She had seen the high school while on a tour, and she wrote to the principal asking if she could come and serve in any way possible. She was the first person there in the morning and the last to leave each night. By the time you noticed a need, Mary was already taking care of the problem. When she passed away last Dec. the world lost one of itís angels. Iím grateful to have known her. She definitely made the world a better place. Love to you, Mary! Youíll be missed! Oct. 2009
