Journaling:

Mary Dorn is one of my heroes. I can’t think of anyone who has had more impact for good in a community. In 1994, she came to Monument Valley as a volunteer. She had seen the high school while on a tour, and she wrote to the principal asking if she could come and serve in any way possible. She was the first person there in the morning and the last to leave each night. By the time you noticed a need, Mary was already taking care of the problem. When she passed away last Dec. the world lost one of it’s angels. I’m grateful to have known her. She definitely made the world a better place. Love to you, Mary! You’ll be missed! Oct. 2009

Anna, this is just wonderful! What a special tribute to a lady who was beautiful in every way. I like the way she stands out so well in the photo, and love the title. Pretty color scheme, too! Thanks so much for posting this!
