One of my oldest and dearest friends is a flight steward on British Airways. For the past 20 years (no kidding) I have been on at him to take a camera with him on his travels around the world. FINALLY last Christmas he got himself a digital and last week he took it with him on a work trip to India. He sent me about 115 photos and I was in awe!! So I took four of them an threw them onto Syndee's Gallery Prints... the easiest LO around if you want to show case photos without too much frufru!!

I did two layouts to show him the two different effects you can get using different, but plain, backgrounds and different fonts. Let me know what you think!

CC and feedback greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I've done a layout before using someone else's photos. It's a different kind of experience!!

Carole I love them both, but the BLACK bg is my favorite...... wow he did great for just having gotten his camera! I bet you were giving him tips! :lol: My dh was there a couple of years ago and it's such a majestic place isn't it? I love the type in the black bg version because it has an India feel to it! GREAT job with is, Okay now I have to go get this action... ROFL

This is stunning! I think I like the black and this font the best.

 

I have been to India too and there certainly is a lot of beautiful things to see! The strange part for me is that usually just down the road from a site like this would be squatters with cow poo stuck to a block wall. They were drying it to use for fuel for cooking. It amazed me the combination of beauty and wealth and poverty all within walking distance of each other. :)
