Feb Week 1 - Light
I took this photo of the moonset on the morning of Feb 1, when the moon was 2 days past full. It was taken right at sunrise, so there was enough light in the sky to light the frame, and the moon was still bright. This isn't a great moon shot, but I do like the colors, and the interesting cloud formation coming in from the north - right side of the frame.

The clouds really do frame the moon. I like the moonset, its different than what we usually see and photograph, but beautiful in its own way. Well composed shot. Very nice.

like the compostion and maybe with color adj you can get some more vibrant colors.... i dont know anything about filters but i bet this is a shot where a filter would make the contasts greater....

Sarah - I love the colours too! I love how you have that hint of ground with the tree tops at the bottom of the frame. The cloud coming in from the right is wonderfully light and phoofy (yes, it IS a real word!). Great moon set photo.

Very pretty, Sarah! I love the blues and whites together. It contrasts so nicely and looks great. I failed on my first moon shots, but yours came out beautifully. Good job!
