I used Ro's Software Secrets revealed video #16 to achieve the b/w with blue eyes, effect - I just had to figure how to make his eyes blue instead of brown.

A technique that I used on this LO, was to change Tok's photo from colour to B/W by using Effects/Photo Effects/B&W Film. From the original,I layered, then selected his eyes, then used paint bucket to colour them blue, with a low opacity. I duplicated the layer twice and overlayed the top layer - used difference on the second layer and normal on the bottom.

I merged the layers visible, then copied and layered the now blue eyes, onto the b/w png of Tok, then saved it as a png.

Tok is really loved! This looks really good, Heather. Nice job on the eyes and on blending your duplicates. Looks like it was fun! He's so pretty. I like your random arangement of the letters (which probably took a long time-LOL!)

Love what you did with the background paper--the mix of patterns and colors really work well here. Also love the succession of photos of your adorable Tok! Thanks for sharing the details on your technique.
