Rather than waiting until the last miute as usual, I though I'd get this one in early. The gradual warming is making some very interesting shapes out of all the snow and ice we have piled up around our area. I took this photo of a Mother Nature ice sculpture on the top of the fence under my deck. It has a prehistoric animal look to me. From a distance, the main character in this one reminded me of a buffalo, perhaps with a dolphin leaping out in front of him, just above the falling, weird little puzzle piece. Think I've been snowed in for too long?
I took this with the camera that was the closest - my Canon S5 IS, AV Mode, f/3.5, 1/400 second shutter,
ISO 200, Auto White Balance, and a focal length of 58mm. No flash. I'm particularly pleased with the shallow DOF.
