2-20-10 Color Challenge - Friendship

The BG & some of the embellishments are from Valerie Randal's DiffColor Collection. The circle of friendship I made in InDesign CS4E, the girls were done in Illustrator CS4E & the font is StrandedBRK.

When I was trying to decide what to do I thought about the Olympic Rings & the Girl Scout song (now mind you it's been 50 years since I was in GS -- made a BIG impression I guess!)When I went on the internet to find a quote or poem, I kept coming up to a story about the colors of friendship that told about arguments on which colors were the most important. The story was much too long to scrap, but it ended with "And so, whenever a good rain washes the world, and a Rainbow appears in the sky, let us remember to appreciate one another." I just wanted all of you here to know how much I appreciate each of you, so I included the rainbow.

What a fun, happy, colorful layout! Great job on your embellishments- I am impressed! The circle and rainbow and background all work so very well together. Love that rhyme, too. Great job on this!

Ann what a wonderful layout! I love the girl scout song, the circles - representing the circle of friends, the rainbow (I love rainbows) AND the use of Valerie's collection! Thank you for participating in the Friendship color challenge!

Ann, this is a wonderful layout - I remember that song from Girl Scouts so well - I often wonder if they still sing it. I love that you applied it to our SG friendships because it is so true - our SG friends are true friends and your rainbow and the circle and the girls just make it a real SG layout. Great job!
