Transform Me

Elisha

Thought on this was prompted by a verse the second reading on Sunday (Philippians 3:17) and from our Women's bible study on Monday evening. I can't change on my own. I need help. One thing that really moved me as I was working on this layout - when I turned the blue splat from Amanda's Take Wing collection, it immediately looked like Jesus hanging on the cross. It floored me.

Oh, Elisha, I thought it looked like a woman soaring from the butterfly. I love this color and the peephole is such a neat idea. I love the painting in the background.

Hey, you're right Aggie - if I look at the splat as if the person's back was to you - it does look like a woman with arms raised in praise. Brings even more meaning.

Great verse, to me the splat looked as if one was looking at the heavens glorifying God. Very cool perspective! Great job on the butterfly coming out of the photo into the heavens as well.

Beautiful! The blue splat does look like an abstract Jesus hanging on the cross--now that's transformation indeed! I also like the torn paper revealing the vista underneath.

Elisha this is just beautiful. I just love the shadow of the butterfly on the background painting. Butterflies, to me, represent rebirth, as does the Phoenix. The splat looks like both a woman with arms raised and Jesus on the cross. Makes you stop, again, look and listen.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey, it's making me think of joining in and creating some layouts myself.
