Jug Band

My grandmother and great grandmother played in a jug band in the 1920's. They made their own instruments out of pipe and a kazoo. My aunt still has the instrument. She said she couldn't imagine them being in a band because they were very serious .

I used: Ro_FamiliesAreForever_Paper_Greenish, Paper_blackish and Paper_Green Lace and _Fancy =FlowerBow

Debra,

What a beautiful layout (and tribute to your grandmothers). It's very eye-catching, and the composition is just lovely. Great job! :happy038:

Love this photo and you have shown it off so beautifully. The flower is so perfect here! Great muted colors which work so well with the photo and I really like the touch of stitching. It all works so well together!

What a wonderful photo, and how lucky you are to have it! Your layout showcases it beautifully. Most of the band members do look rather serious - but those hats make it difficult for viewers to keep a straight face. Great job!

Lovely! When I saw "Jug Band" it reminded me of a favorite childhood show when HBO just came out. Emmit Otter's Jugband Christmas I couldn't get enough of that...lol I know dates me huh? A really beautiful page Debra.

What a wonderful photo that is and I love the frame that you chose. I like the lamppost and that lovely flower. The stitching around the edge is a great addition.

This is a treasure! It's amazing what our ancestors did during their lifetime. And it is hard to believe they did some of the things they did. Great heritage layout.
