Port of Spain

There were lots of interesting buildings in Port of Spain, one of them being the concert hall, designed to somewhat copy the opera house in Sydney. Many of the old houses had been beautiful in their day but had fallen into disrepair. I think they are finally trying to correct that. It was painful to see these homes that had once been so fine, virtually crumbling.

Great photos. The one on the bottom left reminds me of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, England. Love the peacock feather.

Love the teal color with this spread, works nicely with the photos. I agree that I hate to see gorgeous structures left to fall apart, so hopefully they will be able to restore them to their original splendor.
