This is the cover page for my 2012 Family book. It's also the first page I've done in the 8.5X11 format, since I was converted to the 8x8 out of convenience. With all the adapting on SG to the 8.5X11 format I decided it was a great time to go back.

Supplies are in the EXIF but I used BMU_Potpurri Collection and the 2011 December SSClub kit.

Wonderful layout! It's a great photo and I love the background and embellishments. Love the pretty soft colors too.

so pretty! beautiful family! I too am changing over to 8.5 x 11 from 8x8, though I'd only been doing 8x8 for about 6 months.

Haha - You have to love photo shop. I set up my tripod and timer for this family pic. and every single time it took a picture all the kids would run up and look at it so we had to start over again with everyone on the couch. And of course this was the very last picture we took (although I did tweek it a little). Isn't it always the last picture you take.

Thanks so much for all the nice comments everyone. There are just so many beautiful collections to use, the designers make it so you can't really go wrong.
