I took this photo at the end of September at the Jersey Shore a couple of years ago. The beach was deserted that morning, and the only foot steps in the sand belonged to DH and myself. Definitely the end of summer!

I love the palm fronds/tropical foliage in the background...gorgeous. Perfect frame for your Jersey shore shot! And those are the perfect palms that I've been looking for....discovered that they must be retired. Boo hoo for me!

How lucky to have the shore/beach all to yourself! And I am laughing that you took these photos a few years ago... even then you were thinking about scrapping them obviously! Love that backing shot with the highlighted smaller shots, your 'summer' embellishment and your foliage brushwork, great page Diane!
