Love your layout - the colours attracted me. Wow isn't this hobby just fantastic. I am the mother of twins - Andrew and Stephanie who will be 16 on their next birthday and most of my layouts are about them. Twins are so special. All children are gifts and scrapbooking is a great way of showing off our photos of our most precious and treasured memories. You have done a fantastic layout - everything is just to my taste and is a Wow to look at. Elaine -
I plan to put my 2009 layouts in here unless there is a theme and then they may deserve an album of their own.

This layout is created from a picture I had taken today whilst I went for a walk in Eglinton Country Park, Irvine, Scotland. I was not there for very long as the rain came down - and then some! and I had to hide my camera inside my jacket and make a dash for the car. My sister and I decided to go walking together but unfortunately she could not make it today so I went on my own with my camera with the idea of making some nice layouts from my park pictures. This was the first time I was in the park but May and I are going again on Monday as she is more familiar with the park; she will show me all the treasures within Eglinton Country Park. Just a funny note - I thought that I would go to the cafe and wait for the rain to go off enjoying some lunch - the cafe door had a sign which said - "CLOSED TILL EASTER" ....... too long to wait for my coffee methinks -ha ha ha Hope you like this minimalist layout.© elainecaldewood ©

Absolutely love this layout and the sentiments you express are just what I need. Unfortunaltey the Niagara Falls are just a bit far away from Scotland to visit but we have some other lovely sights locally and I may take myself off with my camera and gather some calm for myself and then scrap it when I get back. -

I love this layout and it has inspired me to put myself in some layouts. I dont think I have featured in any of my 3d layouts and I know I am only in one picture on my digital layouts. My next job - scrap 'about me' Well done - love the idea of what was happening in the world the year you were born - I will have to do some research but I need to go back to the year 1959 - not to worry the internet is a wonderful tool -
I am just new to digital scrapbooking and this layout just caught my eye. I love the colours and the font is great too. I shall aspire to create greats works of art too. -

For Mother's day this year I bought 3 tickets for the tour show of Dancing on ice with Torvill and Dean at the Radio Metro Arena in Newcastle. My mum, my daughter, Stephanie and myself went. My Cousin Angela snapped a ticket up too the minute she knew we were going.
