Today, I’m remembering our Jody as it is 4 years she died.  Aidan is now in University and Callan is 16.   We keep in touch and Darren reports that both boys are fine young men whom Jody would be proud of.  She is missed by all, but her legacy goes on.  ?

2 big projects finished..my goal was to have them done before Christmas and I just finished!

I am feeling very happy as today restrictions have been eased a lot in Aged Care facilities so I can return fully as a volunteer after Christmas.

7 more working days and then I retire! 36 years at my job. I will miss it - but looking forward to a new chapter. 

Our Holiday Event - Home For The Holiday kicks off on Tuesday!

Well, just had rotator cuff, bicep, tricep and bone repair on my dominant side. Thought I could spend my time catching up on my scrapping. I don't know - took 5 minutes to type this. may try again in a week or so.

There is something about Scrap Girls that always draws me back. It feels like returning home after being away on a long vacation. I may not be over active as I have taken up  something I did for myself when I was in my 20s.... sewing for myself. I also still dabble in designing for the Christian Blog Train I am part of.  So you may see the occasional layout in the gallery as I still have my huge stash of Scrap Girls products.

It's almost time for our anniversary celebration!

Scrapping again for the first time since hubby was placed in hospice care. It's like starting all over again. I have a new pc, I went from PSE9 to PSE 2020... talk about hunt and peck! Picking up with the first week in September for Project Life, and will go back and fill in the missing weeks a few at a time. I missed you all.❤️

Had a windstorm Monday evening.  Spent all day yesterday cleaning up in part the yard. No damage, but lots of mess with branches from a half dead tree in neighbor's yard. Will spend today cleaning up the rest of the yard. Also just learned we are in a level one evacuation order for fires burning not too terribly far (20 miles) from us. There are fires burning all around in our area. The wind is still blowing, just not as hard. Will get all our necessary items and precious things together and stored in our little RV just in case. Not going to wait until the last minute.

Spent yesterday visiting Colby's college and getting all the final paperwork done before he moves in on the 16th

Yesterday we said our final goodbyes to our beloved son, taken too soon. We had a lovely service attended by family & friends as well as a live stream for those who were unable to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our daughter, my brother & their families watched on from Western Australia. Further investigations are being carried out as to the cause. We may not have answers for a few months if we ever do.

We got to have the boys graduation party yesterday, and on the 12th they will have an outdoor graduation.
