Made these softball cards for my nieces team as gifts. Did it a little bit differently by enlarging them to 5x7 to print for each girl. They came out so cute and printed perfectly at the larger size. I never use templates but these were so perfect for the occasion I couldn't resist. They were also easy to manipulate since we didn't have all the sports "data" for each girl so I just deleted those layers and replaced them with other info or embellishments. Thank you Trish. Mother's Day is such a tough time for me. I have always kept a journal and more and more I find myself using scrapbooking skills to tell a story that I would normally have written in my journal. My favorite topic - my niece Sadie. She has a recently diagnosed growth hormone deficency so at 5 1/2 she is the size of a small 3 year old. These pictures were taken on her first day with no training wheels. She is so tiny that it's even more amazing that she can do all that she does. Oh, my little neice, who hadn't seen me for a few weeks said upon untangling herself from my arms, "I miss-ed you". I was done for and that thought inspired this layout. I tried some different things here most notably the big picture blending into the background. I am happy with the way it turned out as I am very much a newbie but I'll take and critiques that y'all can offer.
