What a lovely photograph! I love your layout. Love the newspaper leaves, all the litle bits you've dropped around the frame and the bracket behind ... I don't usually like brackets, but this seems to say it's joining father and daughter in love. Wonderful.

    Task 18

Oh I do like the curled edges! What a pretty little girl you were. (And scanning slides ... maybe you could tell how when you have time as we've loads, too.)
  4. Great layout Melissa. Love the 'mud' and the journaling. And poor Elizabeth, I'm sure she didn't know what to make of your reaction!

    On the Move

    From the album: Emily Joy

Got an email from my daughter one day a few weeks ago with some photos of Emily lying sideways across her cot, with the comment, "I didn't put her down this way!!" Very soon afterwards I got some more showing Emily upside down, and confirming she was most definitely on the move ... even if it was while no one was looking!! 8. From the album: Weddings

With the recent wedding of our DS2, that's all our children married now. This layout shows one similar photo from each wedding. Quote: Sometimes life offers moments of absolute perfection and wraps us in heavenly dust. Beautiful! The quote was part of the calendar and I cut out the duplications for use on this occasion. TFL. What great photos! love the stones sprinkled around.
  10. I love the curves echoing the shell, your guitarist and the music. Shame about the destruction.
  11. The other one looks really good when you see it first, Karen, but this one looks better ... and I have to confess I don't know why. Can anyone tell me why the buttons and the ribbon make such a difference?

    Generations

    From the album: Emily Joy

The new parents enjoying the sunshine in the garden with Emily on a lovely Spring morning in February, just a couple of weeks after her birth. In the layout Emily is with her parents together in the centre, then separately, and then with grandparents from both sides. Children are a blessing from the Lord. Bridges of Love

Wonderful layout. Isn't it strange how fashions date the photos, yet today's always look so 'normal' and you can never imagine them dating?
  14. Oh, Ngaire, Jessie IS adorable and getting to be a big girl - and I don't think it's the result of cutting up your photo. Lovely layout, colours go well together.

    The End

I like the romantic 'wreath' around your photograph. Hope you enjoyed your second honeymoon.

    Rabbit Hunting

Looks like Wooley is about ready to jump out of that window after the rabbits! I like the trees on your background and how you've got the light coming across your page. Well done.
  17. I like how your photos take you round the layout, finishing with your journaling. Great job.

Yes, I love the black background too. It really makes the photos stand out. I like your arrangement of the photos too. Well done.

    Brand New

How wonderful, Brenda. Congratulations to everyone. He's gorgeous. You're very fast off the mark getting so many layouts done. I'll need to get a move on
  20. This is great, Vaughnde. You have indeed 3 wonderful blessings there.

    Samantha

Sweet indeed, Sandi! Loved the shoveling out the cars comment so she could get to the store! Does she run rings around everyone ... is that why you chose that alpha? I'll need to go looking for that one.

    Tiana

Oh dear, I was about to say the same as Kimmy about how great to have a photographer in the family, but I suppose we should have known, lol! Cobblers' children, and all that ... Creative talents obviously run in the family.

I'm getting a bit repetitive here, Sandi Simply beautiful!
