THANKS to all! For the great recipes in the Cookie Exchange! I received mine and they are all beautiful.

Sorry all that I haven't been around this week. My dad was admitted to the emergency room on Tuesday. So I've been dealing with that, helping take care of their dog, etc.

Hi Mikelle! I'm just getting to see what today's Sale*A*Bration activity is. Is it too late to join in if I don't read ahead for the different tasks? I remember from the first challenge like this that I participated in, we will be using a system for gathering our products to use. Not knowing how you are setting this up… Do you think I will have a problem since my supplies are listed first by the year, second by the month and third by the designer?
Thank you so much for any assistance you could provide me regarding this challenge.
Stay safe, be well and have a great afternoon!

How about those Chiefs 🙂

Congratulations KC Chiefs! I have two teams that I have been cheering for for decades...The KC Chiefs since Len Dawson was the QB. The other team (NY Giants), I was born into...LOL! Go KC and clip ✂️ those Eagles' Wings!
Roses are red, violets are blue!
Here are some Late Birthday wishes for you !
Hoping you had an Awesome Day Angie!

Covid day 3 just as bad as day 1 and 2….this can be over now

Remember to SAVE SAVE SAVE as you work.... Just completed my recipe card (it was a lot of work) and my computer shut down, and now I have to start all over again!!!
-
I know exactly how you feel… I was finishing up my recipe card and my dog had to go out. Apparently, Windows thought my inactivity time was the perfect time to install updates, shut down and reboot. Needless to say, I will not be letting the dog out before I save anything I am working on.
Thank you so much for the reminder and it is nice to know someone else had a similar problem.
Stay safe, be well and have a great day!

Hi Angie and the SG community, I wasn't sure where to post my question. I was asked to become a volunteer to create greeting cards through the AARP Create the Good Volunteer Program. The cards are to be sent to Hospice patients. Here's my question… I want to honor the designers terms of service for using their products. Is it okay to use the products I purchased for personal use to use them when creating cards for this program? The cards are not being sold… They are just to make some patients feel good. If I credit the designer and the scrap girls site on the back of the card would that be sufficient? Or would I be better off making new purchases and changing the license option? Thank you so much for allowing me the time and space to ask my question. Hoping everyone is well! Hugs, Linda

I’m out of town for the day, so there is still time to join this month’s recipe swap. Check it out HERE.

Did I miss the game? Where will I find it? It's already 17h00 here.

PSE pop-up right now telling me to update PSE 2020. Has anyone done this? Any issues or problems with updating? Thanks.

Thanks for all your good wishes. Got my results back for Covid 19 today. Unfortunately, I am positive and so is my sister. We both need to stay quarantined until January 12th.

Our Sale-A-Bration event is coming at the end of this month You don't want to miss it!

My sister-in-law passed away this morning. Apparent heart attack. My brother was in hospital with a prostrate problem. They live in South Africa. My heart hurts.

Hi everyone! I hope you and your families are all doing well and are staying safe during these difficult times. I was out on Amazon today and noticed that PSE 2020 for both PC/MAC is on sale today only for $59. Hang in there and remember we're in this together... Keeping you all my prayers!

Hi Andrea, Mikelle, Marilynn and Diane! Thank you so much for your well wishes… So far everything is going okay at home and we are all adjusting to the mandatory stay in place. My spouse is a teacher so everything is being done through Google Classroom. Today we found out that the principal has lost six friends to the virus and more cases are now being reported in Camden County, New Jersey. My spouse teaches at Cherry Hill High School West. We were informed today that a parent from Cherry Hill High School East tested positive and had attended the West school play during the time she was considered contagious. Neither my spouse or I attended the play but so many students did. We will now just wait and see how many individuals will be affected. I hope you, your family and friends are doing well and staying safe. Thanks again and take care of yourselves!
Hugs, Linda

Now that New Jersey is in mandatory stay in place I will have more time to try to do some scrapping. As you are aware, I am a quadriplegic paralyzed from the chest down (incomplete C4-C5). I've been blessed because in my 40 years as a quad I've never had pneumonia, flu or any other lung/breathing complications. I'm hoping and praying that I continue with my good health. Two of my private duty LPN's are still able to come as of now but may face childcare issues as daycare is now closing too. That being said, I'll be spending my time in bed because it will be easier on my spouse during this difficult time in our world. I'm so blessed and I am looking forward to seeing the projects you are all creating and sharing here in the forum. Stay safe and healthy!

Good morning, I'm not sure why I couldn't sign in to the chat. I logged out of SG, restarted my internet and restarted my laptop. I signed back into SG and when I clicked on the chat button the attached screen shot file is what I saw. Thank you Diane and Marilyn for taking the time to try and help me.
May you, your family and friends stay safe and hang in there....Hugs

It is already 2020 here Down Under. I hope all those here at Scrap Girls will have good health and happy times during this new year of 2020.

one of my friends on FB said if there was no bad luck, I’d have no luck at all... yep. All my food is ruined ‘fridge is freezing everything. All my new veggies, trashed. My eggs, trashed, my brick of cream cheese, trashed... need I say more? My Christmas dinner is in the trash. Only my roast to eat.

Amazon has PSE for $55.99 + a $10 Gift Certificate, but for today only! Look HERE. Anyone have experience using this version? I’m tempted!

Hi Marilyn, I just saw your post…don’t know if this helps but this is what some of the upgrades are and what I thought about them. I have been using PSE 2020 for about two months. I upgraded after I got my laptop back in October. So far, no problems with my system or any upgrades from Microsoft since I installed it.
GUIDED MODE Upgrades
BASICS - OBJECT REMOVAL
I found this easy to use and required less steps than earlier versions.
FUN EDITS - PATTERN BRUSH
This is a fun new edit that might catch your eye.
SPECIAL EDITS - PERFECT PORTRAIT
If you do a lot of portrait work, this feature alone might be worth the upgrade.
EXPERT MODE Upgrades
FILE - ORDER PRINTS - FUJIFILM Prints & Gifts
You can place an order for prints straight from inside Elements.
ENHANCE - COLORIZE PHOTO
If you have a lot of black and white photos and you just want to quickly add color and you are not picky about accuracy, this would be a great feature.
ENHANCE - SMOOTH SKIN
This new feature is probably my favorite. It is accurate, and it can save you time.
SELECT - SUBJECT
You can achieve the same results in earlier versions.
