This is my son Blake. He has been my model for the photography class that Debbie Layden is teaching and he has been doing a super job! He is so patient and now he asks me questions about the lighting and gives me "ideas" on where he should sit and pose. It's so cute! I'm so happy to have finally scrapped something! I have been in a funk since Nov. and have not scrapped anything! I've been taking Debbie Layden's photography class and I feel inspired again! My daughter is not happy being my model. Can you tell by her expression? I loved this photo anyway! I added a sepia layer to this photo of my daughter and changed the opacity to 50% so some of the color would come through but it would give it an aged effect for these papers. My daughter has never been a thumb sucker but when she's tired she sucks on the back of her hand. She has always done it since she was a wee little baby so I wanted to capture this sweet little trait of hers before she outgrows it! Items used to create this layout are in the details tab. TFL!

This is my daughter drawing with sidewalk chalks. This photo wasn't one of the best so I added the dreamy photo effect to it and a white vignette to soften it. I changed the opacity on the corner embellies to 75% so the background would show through and soften it. I did this layout in paper and now that I'm doing digi I was dying to try it in digi! I think I almost like this version better because I could tweak the colors to just the right shade where paper limits you.
