  1. @Mikelle You can share your pages at Ginger Scraps as I do put mine in the gallery there. You do not have to use Ginger Scraps products on what you share in the gallery. You will be able to add to the thread I will start next month links to your pages so we can all see them. Next month I am going to start a thread in the chatting area of Ginger Scraps - see my post HERE
  2. @CRS Carla, I hope you have a good time on your vacation. Travel safely.
  3. Where I will be active: Ginger Scraps comes first as I am fairly active there already and the store has a lot of Scrap Girls designers there. I already at times host Challenges there and next month I will start a regular monthly ATC challenge which Ginger is giving me a coupon for giving to a random participator each month. I am looking closely at The Studio because of the overlap of designers. But I will not be over active - just do an odd challenge if it is one that inspires me. I am a member of Oscraps but there are not a lot of overlapping designers and I do not have the funds to go spending lots of increasing my stash. So I doubt I will be active there. I like some of the designers at The Lily Pad and take part in their January MOC each year so I will still be popping in there at times. One of my favourite designers there is Lynn Grieveson who is a New Zealander. Here is a page I created last month for her designer challenge: I created this page using that poem because of the sleepless nights I had been experiencing.
  4. Tracy, I share these at Ginger Scraps for the P52/P365 challenge as that challenge is the same as our Project Life here at ScrapGirls.

  6. What a very interesting and well set out page you have created. I enjoyed looking at each of your photos. I love Juliane's facial expression in the bottom left photo. I am sorry to read of a death in this family.
  7. Celestine, I will see if I can add my recipe card here. It is an easy recipe.
  8. It is going to feel so strange that sharing my Project Life pages here in the future. My April 7-13 is in the gallery HERE
  9. Credits: AHD_Strategy Fonts - Elephant, Corbel, Courier New, Eras Light and Ink Free Journaling reads: My white photo for Sunday was the Number on table when we had lunch at the Old Olive Tree Cafe with our friends, John and Anne. We had a lovely meal of pizzas and good fellowship. On Monday I finished making badges for the local Seniors Club so my black photo is the crows on the badges. At Uniforms 4 Kids on Tuesday I took a photo of the shorts I had made a few weeks ago as they had red on them. Something brown on Wednesday was the Choc Hazelnut Buckwheat balls I made. They taste okay and Ken likes them. Trying recipes with no sugar because of Ken’s possible test results of being diabetic. That morning Ken and I had visited our friends, Stewart and Dorothy in thier new home for morning tea. It was so nice to catch up with them. Thursday I worked at the Museum/Information Centre and as I opened all the display buildings I found an orange wagon wheel to photograph. Megan and I had a good day together. We did not have many tourists so we filled in our time playing cards and Pass the Pigs. As I did some cardmaking on Friday morning, I chose my grey photo to be one of the cards I made for selling in the craft store. I worked in the store that afternoon. I was not sure what my Neutral photo would be on Saturday until I woke up to a foggy morning and spotted the kookaburra sitting on the fence. That afternoon Ken and I attended the Craft Store bimonthly meeting.

  13. From Ginger - store and site owner at Ginger Scraps I recently learned about the site ScrapGirls closing, this is so sad for the digital scrapping community. I know that it is sooo hard when you have a site that you feel like it's your second home, and then they have to close. It is so difficult and disheartening. I wanted to take a moment to give a BIG GingerScraps welcome to any scrappers coming over from ScrapGirls. We are so happy to have you here!! I'm the owner, I opened GS almost 16 years ago, it is my passion and I have no plans on closing the doors. Of course I can't predict the future, but I hope to keep GS up and running for many, many years to come and I would be honored if you make us your new home site. The first place you will want to stop is the Welcome Wagon: The GingerScraps Welcome Wagon You can collect some fun gifts from a variety of our designers. Here is a link to a lot of info TAKE A LOOK AT THIS THEAD : Welcome to GingerScraps!! Exclusive Goodies Just For You! Hopefully you will feel at home here at GS in no time at all. We have a lot of super friendly member here and they are always happy to help! Please let me know if you have any questions, you can always reach me directly vi the support ticket system: Contact Us I look forward to getting to know you and seeing your beautiful work in the gallery!
  14. I searched in among my saved EHDs that had not been thrown out when our home was cleaned out after the floods 2 years ago and found one had old stash from years ago. I was able to use two items by the store owner who was the owner at the beginning - Ro and then I have used products by our current and last store owner - Angie. You can find my layout in the gallery HERE

Font - Ink Free Journaling reads: I got swept into the papercraft of scrapbooking with the birth of my first grandchild in 2006 . I joined an online scrapbook group which helped me learn all about what happens on a forum and using a gallery to upload my scanned pages. Eventually in 2008 I discovered digital scrapbooking and was hooked. I joined an Australian digital scrapbooking site, Nuts 4 Digi which sold classes for my PSE 6 software. I did those classes which lead me to want to use “styles” but that store did not sell those which made me go looking and that is how I discovered Scrap Girls and became a “Styles Addict” buying just about every style that Syndee Nuckles created. I found the forum a wonderful place to take part in challenges and seek help which I needed at the start because I had trouble installing those styles. The help I received in the forum was wonderful. I enjoyed the Chat room but at times the conversations moved so fast that I had trouble keeping up with my typing of replies. I have enjoyed the online friendship of so many of the members at Scrap Girls. Twice over the years I wandered away from being very active in the forum only to eventually return. There has always been something about Scrap Girls that is not on other sites. It really has been a magical place and I will miss it.
  16. You can use anything on your pages and upload them to the gallery at Ginger Scraps ( no linking to other stores) but you cannot use just anything in the challenges if you want to take part in the Cookie Jar to receive the Collabs. I have in the past taken part in a challenge using other designs but not added my layout to the Cookie Jar and that was accepted.
  17. Thankyou @Mikelle for hosting Project Life. March 31 to April 6

  19. @DRB Designs Will you be selling your designs anywhere else? I just took advantage of your great sale as I did not already have much of your designs in my stash and wish I had realised that sooner.
  20. What a great page to share your feelings. I think it will be a case of us going to different places but that is okay. Life is a journey.
  21. @englishrose Hilary, on the Digital Scrapper site - click on your avatar in the top right corner - click on "notifications". Then untick all the things you do not want to receive emails about.
  22. Beautiful photo on such a lovely ATC. I do like the addition of the music.
  23. I needed to make a sympathy card for my Brother-in-law whose sister died yesterday so I made sure I used something from my Scrap Girls stash to make the card.
