Our visitors have left and we have a really nice time together. It was my older sister and her husband.

Packed my bag today so what better way to fill in part of the day... do a challenge page - the Newsletter one.

Picking up a new desktop computer this afternoon so I may be off line for a little time... hopefully I will have not trouble with connecting up the internet again.

Popped in for the first chat and discovered my time setting does not work properly because of being on daylight saving here. So I will be back when the chats do start.

Real Estate Agent came and valued our home... nice surprise - exactly what we thought it was worth so all plans are go ahead now to looking into buying a home closer to where my one and only daughter lives.

Sadly I have not been receiving any newsletters lately... is this happening to anyone else?

Sadly my new broadband internet is not up and running yet. After a few phone calls and testings looks like there could be problems with our phone line so a technician needs to come and sort it out which will not happen until next Monday.

Saturday here Down Under and it is still raining for the washing from yesterday will go in the dryer.

Seems so strange all the talk of snow as we are having a heat wave in my part of Australia. I just did a temperature conversion as we use centigrade here and when we arrived home from being out today, it was 84.2F inside our home.

Slowly getting over this horrible virus. Went shopping today for groceries ready for our visitors arriving on Sunday. First day out away from the house since Tuesday last week.

Starting to do some serious packing of groceries into the caravan today ready for our little holiday.

Still busy settling into our new home. Miss not popping in here more often. Hopefully I will be back more active soon.

Still happily settling into our new home - now lots of Christmas preparations so not much time for any digital scrapbooking.

Still no new grandchild. I think my daughter may be correct in saying her due date is the 14th. It was the midwife who gave an earlier date.

Still no scrapbooking for me until I get more of this sewing done and I need to go out today for some shopping.

Still very busy unpacking and settling into our new home. I have mobile internet and being in a country area it is very slow at times.

Still waiting for a certain phone call so tonight phoned and only got the answering machine which doesn't tell me anything as they do not always answer even if they are home.

Thank you for all the lovely Birthday greetings. With having already celebrated my day yesterday it is like having a birthday for two days with all you lovely friends on the other side of the world.

Thank you to all those behind the scenes doing all the organising for this week's Anniversary. I was not able to take part in many things but what I did, I did enjoy.
