With all the busy happenings of Anniversary this week I just noticed my post count is now over 9,000 !

In a few hours my daughter and two of the grandchildren are arriving to spend the night. Grandson has a School outing tomorrow in our area so they decided to come for the night. So, no scrapping for me today... hope to get busy with the August challenges next week. Where has July gone?

Back from my little holiday. Lots of great photos to scrap so now I need to make time to create some pages. Ken did not catch any fish ☹️

Later today ( Sunday 18th) heading off for a little 3 night holiday in a cabin in a National Park that borders onto a river and beach. Ken is looking forward to some fishing. It will be a very quiet rest as there is no TV and I will have no internet. See you all when we return.

Thankyou to Angie and all the hosts of the games and challenges. This Salebration has been a fun event.

I am off to spend the night with my daughter and family. Hope to catch up on the Saleabration games and challenges when I get home tomorrow.

My new computer is up and running. My CS6 installed okay and WOW! when I open it up it is so fast! Have not tired any scrapping yet. Still setting up and install other things.
-
My plan for tomorrow is to shut down this old computer of mine and start up my new one. Hoping all goes well as I am looking forward to having twice as much RAM.

Good luck, Anne Marie. I did that a month ago but had to totally wipe the old one and send it off for trade-in. I was so careful before doing that but ended up with one mishap - contacts lost because I believed the Tech guy they were all there. Should have counted them myself. Other than that - all well. Wishing you success.

Today we ordered my new computer and will pick it up next Wednesday. I just hope there is no problems with installing my Photoshop CS6.

I have just now completed an online course in Infection Prevention and Control which will enable me to return to my volunteering in Aged Care tomorrow. I am so looking forward to returning.

Happy New Year to everyone here at Scrap Girls. May we all encourage and support each other in our digital artwork and sharing in the forum. Thank you everyone for all the lovely comments you all make on my pages in the gallery. I am going to strive to be better at sharing gallery love during 2021.

In a few hours I will be leaving to have Christmas Eve with my daughter and her family. Then Christmas day with my older sister and stay for two days. Following that 2 nights back in the town where we used to live to catch up with my last surviving Aunt and friends. I will not have computer access again properly until next Tuesday. May you all have safe and happy Christmas celebrations.

I am feeling very happy as today restrictions have been eased a lot in Aged Care facilities so I can return fully as a volunteer after Christmas.

We are having lovely steady rain all night and now into today which is great after the heat wave we have been experiencing. I thought it the perfect time to sit at my computer and do some creating.

I may be a little late but... Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating this event. ?

There is something about Scrap Girls that always draws me back. It feels like returning home after being away on a long vacation. I may not be over active as I have taken up something I did for myself when I was in my 20s.... sewing for myself. I also still dabble in designing for the Christian Blog Train I am part of. So you may see the occasional layout in the gallery as I still have my huge stash of Scrap Girls products.

Marilyn, one very special member here at Scrap Girls who is always making lovely comments on so many of our pages in the gallery. Thankyou and have a wonderful day for your Birthday ( 6th March)

It is already 2020 here Down Under. I hope all those here at Scrap Girls will have good health and happy times during this new year of 2020.

I just finished my fifth and final page for the December to Remember Project. I enjoyed working with the different prompts. Thank you to the hosts of this. Now I need to do some tidying up and backing up on my computer to get ready for a new year and a new decade!
-
Seasons Greetings to everyone here at Scrap Girls.
Hope you all have safe travels and happy times.
I will not have computer access again now until next Saturday.

With the December to Remember, am I correct in saying there will be no monthly Challenges or Challenge Chase?

Ken and I were to head off on a little holiday tomorrow but plans have changed - The highway we would need to travel on tomorrow is closed where we would need to travel on it because of the Bush fires. We decided to cancel as even if the road opened tomorrow it might be a risk for us returning home next Wednesday, plus there are other fires burning near places we would need to travel through to get to our destination.

Thank you to all the hosts and Angie for the Gift Certificates who all made the Anniversary such a fun event.

I had been trying to comment on every entry in the Anniversary gallery but with you all being so busy with the chat challenges it is keeping my fingers busy typing!
