I have been away on a little holiday and returned being unwell which is not much fun with the heat wave we are having.

Tomorrow Ken and I will make our final payment on the Cruise we are going on in January to New Zealand. I am starting to get more excited as hopefully I will get to meet two NZ Scrap Girls - Ngaire in the South Island and Jane in the north.

Packed my bag today so what better way to fill in part of the day... do a challenge page - the Newsletter one.

My uncle's funeral today and I am doing one of the bible readings which just happens to be the same scriptures - Psalm 23 as at my Dad's funeral 7 years ago. I will need some strength to do this little task.

You may see a little more of me again now. My try at being a professional designer did not work out and I am okay about that. My life away from digi land has just got a little busier now so fitting in design work would not work well for me now.

I have completed my second module in my studies on Dementia with 95% result on my test.

The phone technician has just left..... Happy Dancing here.... I now have great internet again!!!

Yesterday my husband put a deposit on a second hand Alfa Romeo which has very low mileage even though it is 20 years old.

May you all have safe and happy Christmas celebrations. I will be away today and then tomorrow go to my older sister for 3 nights so no internet until we return.

Phone call this afternoon from Real Estate to let us know someone wants to buy our flood damaged house for slightly more than we were expecting.

I am off to spend the night with my daughter and family. Hope to catch up on the Saleabration games and challenges when I get home tomorrow.

I did my first bit of crafting on my new workstation my husband made and it was great. I have taken a photo of part of my craft room and plan to use it on a layout soon.

Tomorrow we head down to our flood damaged house to bring back the remaining items we saved. This will possibly be the last trip as we have a definite buyer for our house.

Had fun shopping electrical items today for our new little home which we are calling "Mia Mia" which is Australian Aboriginal for "shelter hut". We bought clothes dryer, TV, frypan, iron, slow cooker, vacuum cleaner, stand mixer.

I hope you all enjoy the games and challenges this week. My husband and I are tomorrow heading off on a little holiday so I will not be able to play much until we return on Saturday.

My life seems a roller coaster.... phone call today from my Aunt - my last surviving Uncle ( my Dad's brother ) died this morning. Not an unexpected death as he has not been well.

My husband and I are heading off tomorrow for a little 3 night holiday to a town west of us over the mountain range where we may experience a little bit of snow or at least heavy frosts. We are staying in an historic home so I hope to take lots of photos. I will not have internet while away.

Only 16 days until I meet Ngaire and then three days after that I meet Jane. 7 more sleeps until my husband and I set sail on our cruise.

I have been unwell the last couple of days but this afternoon I felt inspired to create some challenge pages and I am pleased with myself in finishing 3 this afternoon.

I am feeling very happy as today restrictions have been eased a lot in Aged Care facilities so I can return fully as a volunteer after Christmas.

Just about to switch off my computer as the grandchildren are coming to stay and one will sleep in my computer/craft room. So I will not be online for possibly two days. Catch up with you all when I can.

Sadly my new broadband internet is not up and running yet. After a few phone calls and testings looks like there could be problems with our phone line so a technician needs to come and sort it out which will not happen until next Monday.

One more sleep until we set sail. You will not see me much in the forum as I will not be on the internet much on the ship or when we are staying with my brother.

I just finished my first module in the Online course I am studying about Dementia and I got 100% correct in the test.
