Still very busy unpacking and settling into our new home. I have mobile internet and being in a country area it is very slow at times.

We are now in our new home. Our furniture arrives tomorrow. We are loving our "Escape to the Country". So many friendly people we have met already and I just love my bigger kitchen.

Today we organised the final payment for our new home and will be moving in next week. I just realised that we have moved to a state with daylight saving so I will need to re-calculate times for taking part in chats.

We are enjoying our holiday and emotionally coming to terms with the fact I will not be returning to my old home when this holiday is over.

Tomorrow the removalists come to take our belongings to be put into storage until 20th November when we move into our new home. From Saturday our only home will be our caravan and we are having a much needed holiday at a coastal town - Lennox Head.

I just finished possibly my last layout for our Anniversary challenges. I need to do serious packing. Next Friday 1st Nov the removalist will be coming. Then Sat 2nd we head off to live in our caravan for a little holiday as we cannot get into our new home ( not newly built) until the 20th.

Looks like the roller coaster ride to sell our house and move is not over yet. The sellers of the house we are buying did not sign the contract until today so the solicitor said that mean they can have up to 28 days to move out. We need to be out of our present home at the end of next week. So thankful we have our caravan so we will still have a roof over our heads.

It is so nice to see Scrap Girls celebrate 9 years as sadly the last surviving Australian owned digi site is about to close. It is the first digi forum I ever joined back in 2008.

We have returned from being away one night to be with my daughter to celebrate her 30th Birthday yesterday. We still have not got a date to move into our new home.

Off to visit my daughter for one night to celebrate her 30th Birthday today. Then return home tomorrow to some serious packing.

Lat this afternoon we received the awaited phone call from our solicitor to say the contract on the people buying our home has gone unconditional. Now we can make definite plans to purchase our dream home we fell in love with back in August.

Not much time for scrapping with all this packing happening. But I am working on my Project LIie page for last week.

For those who saw my Art Journal page about me being on a roller coaster with the selling of our home and moving closer to my daughter.... after a phone call from daughter today I am not sure where I am on the roller coaster - up or down - I think I just flew off the rails. She told us not to rush into buying another home... they may be moving and buying a property with two houses so we can live in one.

Things are not running smoothly with the sale of our house. Looks like the house we would really like to purchase may only be a dream!

The sale of our home is not running smoothly - hassles with the local council over a room we added. Bit frustrating as we have found another home we really really want to buy.

You will not see me on the forum for a few days - until Wednesday 21st as tomorrow we are off to visit my daughter and her family to celebrate my middle granddaughter's 4th Birthday and then on Tuesday we will be looking at a house to possibly buy.

Our home for sale... first family to look through it happened already, today - family with three boys. It would be nice to see the house being lived in by a family again.

A very strange feeling seeing a for sale sign sitting in our front yard.

Real Estate Agent came and valued our home... nice surprise - exactly what we thought it was worth so all plans are go ahead now to looking into buying a home closer to where my one and only daughter lives.
