- I put this old picture of my two aunts into a frame "called "Elegant" from PSP XI - from there I used Amanda Sok's "Winter White" collection: paper flakey rusted heart tan tag - font is Lettering Delights "Artistic" - l/o was done using PSE 6.0 my aunts remained close all their lives; in a painful twist, they even died only one day apart

I live where I get assistance with daily tasks from Personal Support Workers (PSW) one of the workers has a new 6 month old pug & she brought him to visit yesterday he is so cute - of course I grabbed my camera & then did a l/o with the pictures I created the background, but little shows through - it's Eddie, all cute little Eddie Canon SX100IS PSE 6.0

my sister-in-law recently gave my cat a new pet bed they had won that their cats wouldn't use it took awhile to get the photos because she would wake up and climb out when I came in the area, but I finally got her to stay put after waking up I experimented with filters to get the background that would suit her fur colours but still help convey the theme (I can go right past the bed & not realize she's there if she's curled up asleep) Canon SX100IS Photoshop Elements 6.0

I'm an honourary aunt to one of my closest friend's 2 kids & when I don't see them for a while, I wonder who they will be when I do spend time with them. I certainly now understand what baffled me as a child: why the natural progression of a child growing up takes adults by surprise & even sometimes bothers them. -Kerry Veale's "Sherbert Silk, Sage Green" was just the backdrop I wanted -I took the photo when my "niece was wanting to walk, & the other 2 are used by permission -only 1 tree out of many on our street was starting to change colour, so I photographed it & removed the background to create a "clip -Tudor HMK & Francine HMK fonts PSE 6.0

didn't get the chance to log into the October 1 high noon crop but accepted the "do a l/o using 9 photos within 1 hour" challenge anyway, using pictures I took last Sunday of my brother's one cat, enjoying the undivided attention of 5 adults because her brother was still in hiding from when the vaccuum had been out Dory gets so energetic playing in her cat tunnel toy she moves it all around the room, although she will also sit quietly inside waiting for a chance to ambush anyone passing by (she especially loves ambushing her brother Marsh) created both the background & the word art myself, drawing the letters by hand PSE 6.0

it's the same expression! when I came across this picture of my cousin as a toddler & realized his expression here & in the photo I took this summer were almost identical, I had to use Angie Briggs "His & Hers" kit to bring the two together; the paper, the embellishments & the word art were exactly what I had in mind (although I did alter the colours in the word art & added a texture to the word 'loved', to bring everything into harmony) - I even used the tag to cover up an arm from a person sitting next to him it was the "mischief maker" word art that drew me to the kit for this l/o since it fits Matt so well - a real handful as a toddler, and the mischief spark still burning strong well over 30 years later; even when toddler Matt was driving teenaged me nuts, I had strong affection for him & I still do PSE 6.0

I decided to re-do the first layout I ever did before I discovered digital scrapbooking, back when I used Microsoft Word. After trying & rejecting different backgrounds, I applied a filter to simple pink fill. I also arranged & rearranged the photos several times. The captions are based on what I now see in my then 6 month old facial expressions. The l/o was done in PSE 6.0 where I found the cute baby bottle clip. If you think I was small for 6 months, you're right - I was a preemie & this dress eventually ended up on one of my dolls.

I used PSE 6.0 & PSP XI to create this trip down memory lane to before I was born, showcasing my brother's first Christmas. I applied a series of filters to a dark red fill untill I had the background I wanted. The tag is part of PSE's goodies, the candle & holly branch are PSP picture tubes, while the fireplace & tree I created using PSP a few years ago. All of the photos were labelled December 1955, but I think he "grew" in the one, although it could reflect the difference in how close the photographer was to the subject.
