This photo was taken during one of my least favorite camping trips ever (April, 1975). We woke to snow so deep that two friends had to walk ahead of the car to try to find the road out. We won't even talk about the 8 months (1979) I lived in a one-room cabin with an outhouse, water that had to be hauled in, and a wood-burning stove. Go camping? No thanks! -
