I love this picture- I was there many years ago and it was a very rainy and foggy night. Didn't get such a great view as this.

    Mom around age 4.

Found an undated pic of my mom. She looks to be about 4. I love the flowers in the scene so I went with a spring color theme.
  6. This is excellent! Love the layout- it really captures the event and the elements don't overwhelm the page but give the feel of spying on his fun. oh to be a kid again

    Jeremy PA

Fun playing with mist paint. This was a tough photo to scrap due to the closeness of his face and background people that I did not want to include. Overall I am pleased with the outcome.

    Selfie

Looking for pictures to scrap, I came across numerous selfies that my daughter took. Inspired by the ring mats, I created my own- now I see why people buy certain elements, LOL. I also played with my wacom, which I never use as I can't draw, and created the string element.

    Roadtrip

Roadtrip to PA in 2008 with the kids. It was so much fun! Journalling: Roadtrip to Gettysburg, PA, April 2008. Stopped in Philadelphia for a couple of days and enjoyed a great meal at a local Italian restaurant. It was such a great trip with the kids. Jeremy playing the Star Wars theme on the grand piano in the lobby of the Sheraton, the horse carriage ride, the Mutter Museum- where Jeremy was fascinated by Grover Cleveland’s jaw tumor (gross!), the Star Wars exhibit at The Franklin Institute, shopping for tea, and of course, seeing Liberty Bell. The kids were so great to travel with, excited to see new things, and really got into the adventure.

    Fun Times

Great page! Good use of white space and the title really adds movement.
  21. This is beautiful! I love the paint use behind the photos.
  22. My husband's grandmother #1 had been a Bhikkhuni (a Buddhist nun) and lived at a monastery in the New Territories. It was a peaceful place surrounded by forests. Birds could be heard chirping everywhere. The nun, seen here, was a close friend of your great-grandmother. Our marriage had been blessed at this monastery in 1992 and it was wonderful to return and see these elderly ladies one more time.
  23. Very cool and eyecatching! The tut looks easy, thank you for posting- I am definitely going to play with this.

    Mum and Dad

A treasured find amongst the negatives in a box. How handsome you both look. I love Dad’s smile and the devilish look in his eye. Mom is beautiful with the light net veil and flower in her hair. I don’t remember Dad ever publicly showing affection toward Mum, and yet, here he is, with his hand around her waist. I guess this photo was taken at a wedding in the 1950’s. Such opposites- Dad didn’t drink or dance and Mum enjoyed a good party. I wonder if you both had a good time? 25. Stunning! Love it! The blending, journaling, embellishments- all perfect! Thank you for sharing.
